Practice overview
- Full-time, hospital-employed position with a 15-on/15-off nocturnist schedule (7:00 PM-7:00 AM).
- Work closely with a dedicated nocturnist partner and a Pulmonary/Critical Care physician.
- Supported by telemedicine critical care/pulmonology and on-call specialists.
- Experienced daytime hospitalist team: 2 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners.
- Typical hospitalist daily census: 15 patients; nursing ratio approximately 1:5, adjusted for acuity.
- Procedure experience preferred but not required.
- Access to state-of-the-art diagnostics and clinical technology.
Hospital features
- 36-bed acute care facility with full specialty backup.
- 10-bed open ICU.
- Two catheterization labs with an 8-bed pre/post-procedure unit.
- Five operating rooms plus a four-room ambulatory surgery center.
- Five dedicated observation beds.
- Eight-bed Emergency Department staffed by experienced, responsive clinicians.

Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Montana.
- Comfortable with hospital-based procedures preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and effective teamwork.
