Join a rapidly growing, hospital-employed team in Great Falls, MT as a nocturnist within a collaborative and respected hospitalist program. This full-time role offers a balanced 15-on/15-off schedule, modern facilities, comprehensive specialty support, and a culture that prioritizes physician well-being and professional growth.

Practice overview
  • Full-time, hospital-employed position with a 15-on/15-off nocturnist schedule (7:00 PM-7:00 AM).
  • Work closely with a dedicated nocturnist partner and a Pulmonary/Critical Care physician.
  • Supported by telemedicine critical care/pulmonology and on-call specialists.
  • Experienced daytime hospitalist team: 2 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners.
  • Typical hospitalist daily census: 15 patients; nursing ratio approximately 1:5, adjusted for acuity.
  • Procedure experience preferred but not required.
  • Access to state-of-the-art diagnostics and clinical technology.

Hospital features
  • 36-bed acute care facility with full specialty backup.
  • 10-bed open ICU.
  • Two catheterization labs with an 8-bed pre/post-procedure unit.
  • Five operating rooms plus a four-room ambulatory surgery center.
  • Five dedicated observation beds.
  • Eight-bed Emergency Department staffed by experienced, responsive clinicians.

Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Montana.
  • Comfortable with hospital-based procedures preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and effective teamwork.
