Hospitalist Physician Assistant

Good afternoon. Krista Dunn here from Ascend Medical. I believe we spoke awhile back about APP Hospitalist jobs in Michigan. I have a new opening today for a NP/PA Hospitalist with ICU capabilities in Ogemaw County, located in the northeast region of the lower Peninsula of MI. It is an ongoing need with an expected 6 month or more duration. Please see the details below: Location: Ogemaw County, Michigan Start Date: October 4th End Date: Ongoing, 6 months or more expected Schedule: 7 on / 7 off, Monday through Sunday, 7pm - 7am; Must complete 3 day orientation prior to start date on the floor Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted MI License
• Board Certified PA or NP Hospitalist
• Clean background/malpractice (for 7 years +)
• 50 cases logged in past 12 months
• ACLS & BLS AHA Certifications
• Updated CV & 3 References
• Must be able to perform the following procedures: indirect laryngoscopy intubation, insert/manage Central Venous & Arterial Catheters, moderate sedation, lumbar puncture,

endotracheal intubation & extubation, vent mgmt including Readiness for & Administering Respiator Weaning/Oxygen Therapy & Extubation, Assessing need for Intubation, Insertion of arterial lines, centra venous line percutaneously or by cut down, chest tube insertion, tracheostomy care to include tube change, radial/femoral arterial line insertion & removal, CVC line placement, & external pacing to include adjusting temporary epicardial, transvenous or transcutaneous pacemaker as necessary mgmt of Tension Pneumothorax in Emergent Situation EMR: Epic, Dragon dictation Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days but process will be prioritized for start date Travel & lodging covered Malpractice Insurance Covered Rate is open - please give me your going rate range If you are interested in this opportunity, please call or text me a good time to call you at our earliest availability.
