Join a hospital-based team in Denver, Colorado, providing pre-operative patient care coverage during a maternity leave assignment. This locums opportunity offers a predictable weekday schedule with support from nursing and clerical staff in a collaborative environment.

Assignment Length: Approximately 3 months

Schedule & Coverage
Monday - Thursday
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Orientation:

• Shadowing prior to independent coverage

Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Patient Population: Pre-Operative Patients

Daily Admissions:

• Approximately 5-15 patients per day

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct pre-operative evaluations
• Assess and document patient readiness for procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary departments
• Complete documentation and care coordination
• Participate in patient admissions and evaluations as needed

Support & Technology
Support Staff Includes:

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Clerk

Collaborative hospital-based care team

Requirements
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Required
Active Colorado license - Required at time of submission
Experience with hospital-based patient care preferred
Comfortable managing pre-operative evaluations and admissions
