Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner

Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our House team for overnight coverage (7p 7a). The provider will deliver high-quality inpatient care in collaboration with attending physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations for acute care patients
  
• Assess, diagnose, and manage medical conditions in the inpatient setting
  
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
  
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
  
• Respond to changes in patient status and provide rapid clinical intervention
  
• Perform procedures within scope of practice and institutional guidelines
  
• Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR
  
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary services
  
• Participate in admissions, cross-coverage, and patient management overnight
  

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA in the State of New Jersey
  
• Acute care or inpatient experience preferred
  
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
  
• ACLS certification required (or eligible)
