Job Details
- Physician Assistant " inpatient admissions role
- Full-time employed position
- Daytime schedule only; no nights
- Focus on new patient admissions and initial evaluations
- Perform history and physicals and develop care plans
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with hospitalists, physicians, and care teams
- Coordinate care with nursing, case management, and ancillary services
- Assist with care transitions and discharge planning
- Document encounters in EMR
