Schedule: Monday Friday Onsite
Salary: $275K $325K + leadership bonus
A hospital system in Orlando is seeking a Physician Advisor Progression of Care to support utilization management, denial prevention, and hospital throughput initiatives.
This physician will collaborate with hospital leadership, attending physicians, and managed care payers to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and optimized length of stay management.

This physician will collaborate with hospital leadership, attending physicians, and managed care payers to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and optimized length of stay management.
Key Responsibilities
- Review inpatient, outpatient, and observation stays for utilization appropriateness
- Authorize inpatient days and identify opportunities for utilization improvement
- Prevent and address payer denials through physician and payer collaboration
- Lead initiatives to optimize Length of Stay (LOS) and reduce avoidable days
- Educate medical staff on utilization management and documentation best practices
- Analyze denial trends and utilization data to influence clinical practice patterns
- MD or DO with active Florida license
- 10+ years inpatient clinical experience
- 3+ years Physician Advisor experience
- Hospitalist background preferred
- $275,000 $325,000 salary
