Job Details
ILLINOIS Hospitalist Locums Need - (Direct with Hospital)
Need: Daytime Hospitalist Coverage (7am - 7pm); Rounding/Admissions/Discharges
Model: 4 Daytime Hospitalists / 1 Nocturnist
Avg Daily Encounters: 12 - 14 (includes Rounding/Admits/Discharges)
ICU (Open): E-ICU for days & nights; On-site Perm Pulmonary CC is in process
Procedures: No Procedures required
Location: Western IL
Need: Multiple shifts per month. They would like someone who can help out consistently
EMR: Meditech and transitioning to EPIC
Full call coverage with all sub-specialties including Cardiology (including Interventional for STEMIs), GI, Nephrology (w/ Dialysis), ID, Neurology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry
Hospital does not have CT Surgery or Neurosurgery
Quick credentialing; Emergency Temps for Physicians with Clean background
Travel & Lodging covered
Medical Malpractice Provided - Including Tail
Collegial work environment
Requirements:
BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
IL License or IMLC
Prefer physicians with clean background to expedite privileges, but not a requirement
What we would need from you:
1) Are you licensed in Illinois already? Or do you have the IMLC?
2) How soon are you looking to start and how many shifts per month would you be looking for?
3) Please send me your CV so we can expedite the process.
4) Is there any history of Medical Malpractice claims?
5) Would there be anything that would come up during the Credentialing process, or in something such as a background check or NPDB report that we would need to know about?
