Assignment Overview

• Setting: Inpatient Acute Care
  
• Facility Size: 260-bed hospital
  
• Patient Volume: Avg. admissions per shift (varies)
  
• EMR: Meditech Expanse (transitioning to Epic on 5/30/2026 training provided)
  

Schedule & Coverage Structure Day Coverage

• 5 6 Hospitalist MD/DO rounders
  
• 2 Hospitalist APP rounders
  
• 1 Resident support (5pm 9pm)
  

Admitting Shifts

• 12pm 12am Swing Shift (Admitting Hospitalist MD + APP)
  
• 7pm 7am Night Shift
  

Night Coverage

• 1 Nocturnist (7pm 7am)
  
• 1 Hospitalist per night shift
  
• 1 Night Resident (7pm 7am)
  

Practice Environment

• Established, well-supported hospitalist team
  
• Strong MD/DO + APP collaboration
  
• Resident support on both swing and night coverage

Candidate Requirements

• BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  
• Comfortable with inpatient admissions and rounding
  
• Team-oriented and adaptable
  
• Open to EMR transition (Epic conversion 5/30/2026)
