- 7 on / 7 off
- 7pm - 7am

- Leadership and advancement opportunities
- Admit and manage adult inpatient admissions during overnight shifts
- Evaluate new admissions and initiate treatment plans in a timely manner
- Provide comprehensive overnight inpatient care, including admissions, cross-coverage, and urgent clinical issues
- Coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, case management, and the daytime hospitalist team
- Complete documentation, orders, and detailed sign-out to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and help mentor Advanced Practice Providers and trainees as appropriate
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or applicable specialty
- Active California medical license
- Must have BLS
- Active DEA (or eligible to obtain)
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
