Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine, Nocturnist Opportunity, Monroe, NC

We are seeking a Pediatric Nocturnist to provide overnight coverage for an 8-bed pediatric inpatient unit. This role focuses on high-quality inpatient pediatric care and collaborative clinical support across multiple care settings.

Position Highlights:

Independent Overnight Clinical Experience – Overnight management of pediatric inpatients on an 8-bed unit.

Collaborative Surgical Co-Management – Partner closely with surgical teams to support admitted pediatric patients.

Frontline ED Support & Regional Impact – Provide Emergency Department consultations, including virtual support for outlying Eds. Innovative Care Delivery – Contribute to and support the Pediatric Hospital at Home program.

Ideal Transition Opportunity for New Graduates – Perfect for those seeking a 1–2 year bridge into pediatric hospital medicine.

Team-Based, Coordinated Care Environment – Work collaboratively with nursing, advanced practice providers, and consulting services.

Focused Inpatient Pediatric Practice – Dedicated to pediatric inpatient care only. No Newborn or Delivery

Responsibilities – Enjoy a role without delivery, newborn, or nursery coverage requirements.

Ideal Candidate:

Board certified or Board eligible in General Pediatrics is required.   Levine Children’s Hospital, a part of Advocate Health, has taken us to another level of service to care for the growing population of children in our region.
