Details

• Setting: ED/Hospitalist comfortable with covering ER duties in Guttenberg, IA
  • Level 4 Trauma
  • 72 hour shifts Friday-Sunday (in house)
  • Annual ER volume: 2200
  • 50% of total hospital admissions received from ED
  • 10% of ED patients admitted per day, 5% of ED patients transferred per day
  • No OB cases
  • ED/Hospitalist will manage critically ill patients (no ICU on site - would transfer)
• Schedule: 24 hour call, 8a-8p

Required

• Board certified (ABMS, AOA)
• Must have ED experience
• Active IA license
• Must be local candidate given sporadic nature of the need
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, NRP

Compensation

• Paid weekly - pay negotiable
