Position: OB Hospitalist (Obstetric Hospitalist)
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Schedule: Full-Time
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our hospital-based labor & delivery team in the thriving city of Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a unique opportunity to practice inpatient-focused obstetrics within a supportive, collaborative environment dedicated to safe, patient-centered care around the clock.
Newly trained graduates are encouraged to apply!
The incoming physician will provide comprehensive, hospital-based obstetric care, including triage, admissions, deliveries, and inpatient consults. You'll work closely with midwives, anesthesiology, neonatology/pediatrics, and nursing leadership to ensure timely, evidence-based care and excellent patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities: • Manage L&D triage and evaluate obstetric emergencies • Perform and assist with deliveries • Provide inpatient antepartum/postpartum care and consultations • Respond to ED and inpatient obstetric/gynecologic consults as needed • Participate in obstetric safety initiatives, drills, and quality improvement • Collaborate with community OBs, family medicine, CNMs, and hospital leadership • Support patient education and shared decision-making
Position Requirements: • MD or DO from an accredited institution • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology • Active North Carolina medical license or eligibility to obtain • Strong commitment to evidence-based, team-oriented inpatient obstetric care
