- Patient Volume/Census: 18+ patients per day
- Case Mix: Inpatient and ICU, including vents and basic ICU care
- No. of Beds in Department: 12 ICU beds
- EMR System: EPIC
- Specialty Backup Available: Critical Care, Geriatrics, Palliative Care
- Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
- Credentialing Timeline: 2 weeks prior to start
- Licenses: Active Pennsylvania license or Universal License (IMLC)
- Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- DEA: required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Experience: At least 270 inpatient encounters in past 12 months OR completion of ARC-PA program within past 12 months
- Provide comprehensive inpatient hospitalist care for adult patients (18+) including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges.
- Manage ICU-level patients including ventilator management and basic critical care, especially during night and weekend shifts.
- Supervise and collaborate with Physician Assistants in a collegial team environment.
- Work collaboratively with specialty support services including Critical Care, Geriatrics, and Palliative Care.
- Maintain a minimum of 12-16 shifts per month in a well-established hospitalist group.
