Start Date: September 14, 2026

Length of Assignment: 3+ months (potential for extension)

Schedule: 7 on / 7 off 7:00 AM 7:00 PM with nighttime call Inpatient only

Credentialing: Approximately 30 days

Patient Volume: Not specified

Procedures: Moderate sedation; lumbar puncture; endotracheal intubation and extubation; paracentesis and thoracentesis; ventilator management including respiratory weaning, oxygen therapy, and extubation; assessment for intubation; chest tube insertion; PICC, arterial line, and central venous line placement; arterial line insertion and removal; tracheostomy care and tube changes; management of tension pneumothorax; external pacing (epicardial, transvenous, and transcutaneous)

Licence Needed: Michigan or IMLC

Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible, ACLS

Details:
Seeking an experienced Hospitalist with strong critical care and respiratory management expertise for a high-acuity inpatient ICU setting. Providers should have at least one year of Hospitalist or Critical Care experience and be comfortable independently managing critically ill patients while performing a wide range of ICU procedures. All applicable core privileges should be requested during credentialing. While proctoring is not required for privileging, the facility requires documentation of five proctored cases for each requested procedure. Located in Michigan, this assignment offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative medical center while enjoying the state's scenic lakes, outdoor recreation, and welcoming communities.
