Clinical Details :
Requirements :
- Schedule: 7 on / 7 off
- One day of Orientation
- Two-Three days of proctoring
- (7a-7p) with nighttime call
Clinical Details :
- Inpatient only
- EMR and Dictation Tools: EPIC/Dragon
- Cases/Procedures:
- Moderate Sedation
- Lumbar Puncture
- Endotracheal Intubation and Extubation
- Paracentesis/Thoracentesis
- Ventilator Management including Assessing Readiness for and Administering Respiratory Weaning/Oxygen Therapy and Extubation. Assessing need for Intubation
- Chest Tube Insertion
- Insertion of PICC Lines, Arterial Lines, Central Venous Lines either percutaneously or by cut down
- Arterial Line Insertion and Removal (radial and femoral)
- Tracheostomy Care including Tube Change
- Management of Tension pneumothorax in Emergent Situation
- External pacing including adjusting temporary epicardial, transvenous, or transcutaneous pacemaker as necessary
- Clinical support available
Requirements :
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Must be proctored 5 per each procedure
- Must be Respiratory/Critical Care experienced with procedures
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- ACLS
- Case Logs: 50 inpatient logs within the last 12 months
- Active MI License or IMLC
