Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: ASAP - Ongoing
- Job Setting: Hospital (12-bed department); Inpatient
- Patient Encounters Per Shift: 3-8
- Nearest Airport: RDU
- Lodging: On-site call room available or local hotel options (ask for LifePoint corporate rate)
- Types of Cases:
- Low risk and high risk pregnancy management
- FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
- OB Ultrasounds - Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic)
- Amniocentesis
- Routine vaginal delivery
- Low forceps delivery (preferred)
- Decision-making for C-section
- C-section
- Breech delivery
- Multiple births
- Abruptions
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Surgical gynecology - Open and Laparoscopic (diagnostic/minor)
- Operative/major gynecology - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's (preferred)
- Laser certification required
- Circumcisions - current experience required
- Credentialing: Estimated 15 days; Fellowship level 2
- Facility Trauma Level: Pediatric Level 2
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certification required (minimum Board Eligible)
- Certifications:
- ACLS - Required
- PALS - Required
- Other - Required
- Licensure: Active North Carolina (NC) medical license required; clean history required
