Hospitalist Physician

Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Ongoing coverage; minimum three 12.5-hour shifts per week; day and night hospitalist coverage available
• Job Setting: Inpatient Labor & Delivery Hospitalist Program within a high-volume maternity center
• Types of Cases: Cesarean deliveries, postpartum D&Cs, occasional hysterectomy at time of Cesarean; resident teaching responsibilities; collaboration with midwives
• Credentialing: 3-4 month credentialing process; temporary privileges available in approximately 2 months

Minimum Requirements for Consideration

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: BC Only - Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Certifications: No specific life support certifications required
• Licensure: Active California License Required
