- Location: Multiple facilities near Midland, MI
- Setting: Inpatient Hospital Medicine
- Schedule: Preferred coverage in 3-4 consecutive day stretches
- EMR: Epic with Dragon dictation
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care for hospitalized adult patients
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform admissions, daily rounding, discharges, and care coordination
- Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, case management, and ancillary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Order and interpret laboratory studies, diagnostic imaging, and other tests
- Document patient encounters accurately using Epic and Dragon
- Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care while maintaining efficient patient flow
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program
- Active Michigan medical license required
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- All required certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association
