Hospitalist Physician

• Schedule: 8am-5pm, 3-4 days per week; Start Date: ASAP, Ongoing
• Job Setting: Outpatient
• Types of Cases: Primarily obstetrical patients for initial and follow-up prenatal visits; GYN patients as schedule allows. Average 975 deliveries per year. No call required.
• EMR System: Cerner
• Patients Per Shift: 15-20+
• Trauma Level: Level 2

Skills

• Required:
  • Low risk pregnancy
  • FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
  • OB Ultrasounds - Performance and interpretation (Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted)
  • Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
• Preferred:
  • High risk pregnancy
  • Amniocentesis
  • Surgical gynecology - Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, and Operative/major procedures

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible minimum; Board Certified preferred
• Certifications:
• Licensure: Wisconsin state license required; IMLC not accepted. Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days. Facility will not reimburse for licensing costs.
