Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

Central Illinois (45 Minutes South of Champaign) - Pediatric Hospitalist JobClinical Role

• Permanent, full-time position
• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Pediatrician
• January 2027 start date
• Inpatient-only Pediatric Hospitalist position
• Share a 5-on / 10-off (approximately) schedule with two other pediatricians
• Round on pediatric inpatients and newborns
• Level II nursery averaging approximately 800 deliveries annually
• Must have (or obtain) NRP certification
• Participate in high-risk delivery attendance as needed
• Round and go model with a 15-minute response time during 24-hour call shifts
• Cerner EMR
• Clinical autonomy with physician-directed practice
• Work alongside three full-time Advanced Practice Providers
• Potential future APP supervision (not currently required)
• W2 employment
• No visa sponsorship available

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary
• $75,000 sign-on bonus
• $100,000 retention bonus
