Assignment Details
- Setting: Inpatient Hospital Medicine
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- Contract: Ongoing (6-12 month commitment preferred)
- Schedule:
- Days: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM
- Swing: 2:00 PM-12:00 AM
- Nights: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
- Block Scheduling: Preferred 7 consecutive days every other week; up to 14-day blocks considered
- Call: None specified
- Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
- EMR: Epic
- Provide comprehensive inpatient hospital medicine services
- Manage daily patient rounding and admissions
- Care for adult hospitalized patients across assigned shifts
- Participate in code responses as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care
- Document patient encounters using Epic
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Completion of an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency (third-year Internal Medicine residents will also be considered)
- Active Washington medical license
- Current BLS certification
- Active DEA registration
- Hospitalist experience preferred for Family Medicine physicians
- ACLS capability strongly preferred
- Clean malpractice history strongly preferred
- Eligible for hospital credentialing
