Locums - Titusville, Pennsylvania - Hospitalist JobClinical Role:

- Locum tenens opportunity
- Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician
- Coverage needed: July 31, 2026 - August 7, 2026
- Ongoing coverage opportunities available
- 24-hour single physician coverage at a 25-bed critical access hospital
- Typical workload is 12-15 hours on-site with the remainder of the shift spent on on-site call
- Hospitalist call room with sleeping accommodations provided
- Schedule: Noon to Noon (24-hour shifts)
- Average daily encounters: 18
- Average daily census: 16
- Open ICU model with 4 ICU beds
- Procedures required:
- Central line placement
- Endotracheal intubation
- Rapid sequence intubation (RSI)
- Ventilator management
- Additional responsibilities include caring for swing bed patients
- Critical patients are transferred to Meadville Medical Center (approximately 27 miles away)
- EMR: Meditech Expanse with Dragon/Nuance dictation
- Required:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active Pennsylvania medical license
- ACLS certification
- Expedited credentialing available due to urgent coverage need
- Allow RecruitWell to coordinate a phone call with the client to discuss additional details
- Work with a contracted hospitalist group
- 25-bed critical access hospital
- Approximately one hour from Erie, Pennsylvania
- About 90 minutes from Pittsburgh
