  • Salary Range: $300,000 $350,000 annually (based on experience, certification, and internal equity)

What You ll Do
  • Provide direct inpatient care including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges
  • Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Respond to emergency situations and participate in code responses
  • Collaborate with specialists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other hospital staff
  • Manage ventilator therapy and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Coordinate effective patient care transitions and discharge planning
  • Document patient care accurately in the EMR
  • Engage in interdisciplinary rounds, hospital committees, and quality initiatives
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses and treatment plans
What You Need
  • Active Vermont medical license or ability to obtain one
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or equivalent
  • DEA license
  • Prior hospital experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
