- Employment Type: Full-Time
- License/Certifications: VT medical license, Board Certified or Board Eligible, DEA
- Experience: Prior hospitalist experience preferred but not required
- Salary Range: $300,000 $350,000 annually (based on experience, certification, and internal equity)

- Pay package discussed upon application
- Provide direct inpatient care including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges
- Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of acute and chronic medical conditions
- Respond to emergency situations and participate in code responses
- Collaborate with specialists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other hospital staff
- Manage ventilator therapy and interpret diagnostic tests
- Coordinate effective patient care transitions and discharge planning
- Document patient care accurately in the EMR
- Engage in interdisciplinary rounds, hospital committees, and quality initiatives
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses and treatment plans
- Active Vermont medical license or ability to obtain one
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or equivalent
- DEA license
- Prior hospital experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
