Hospital Medicine - Days/Evenings - Physician - Albany

We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated Physician Hospitalists to join our dynamic team. We currently have days/evening openings at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, NY.  Our hospitalists pay a vital role in ensuring excellent outcomes for our hospitalized patients. 
St. Peter’s Hospital, Hospitalist Program Details: 

• 400 Bed Community Hospital 
• Closed ICU w/ 24/7 Intensivist Support 
• ADC- Rounders average 15 patients on 10 hour shift 
• Rounding Day Team staffing model- 20 providers 
• Large employed group of physicians offering in-house subspecialist support 
• Current openings:  Days/Evenings – primarily days with flexing to evenings 
• 1900 hours required annually, 475 hours per quarter

Responsibilities: 

• Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients, including admission, daily rounds, and discharge planning. 
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. 
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide timely interventions to stabilize patients. 
•  Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters in the electronic medical record. 

Qualifications: 

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. 
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. 
• Valid medical license in the state of New York. 
• Excellent clinical and communication skills. 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• This position is not accepting J1 or H1B visa candidates.

Recruitment Package: 

• Base Salary: $315,000- $325,000 commensurate with experience 
• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. 
• Starting Bonus of $25,000
