- Provide OB hospitalist coverage, including deliveries and obstetric emergencies
- Manage OB triage and unassigned gynecological emergencies
- Assist with deliveries, averaging 1-4 per shift
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system (details TBD)
- Support GYN emergencies and oversee OB-related patient care
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond efficiently to hospital needs
Required:
- Valid medical license in Iowa
- Board eligible/certified in OB/GYN
- Experience in OB hospitalist roles or inpatient OB care
- Ability to handle deliveries and obstetric emergencies
Preferred:
- Experience with Level 1 NICU patients
- Skills in OB triage and GYN emergency management
