Locums Hospitalist Physician in West Branch, Michigan - 7 On 7 Off, Long-Term Assignment
Work a structured 7-on, 7-off rotation in an inpatient hospitalist role requiring strong ICU and critical care procedural skills.

Practice & Cases

• 100 percent inpatient adult hospital medicine
• ICU-capable coverage with respiratory and critical care responsibilities
• Required skills include moderate sedation, intubation, arterial and central lines, and ventilator management
• Additional procedures may include lumbar puncture, chest tubes, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and tracheostomy care

Schedule

• Seven consecutive days on followed by seven days off
• 12-hour on-site daytime shifts
• Nighttime call follows each on-site shift
• Recurring week-long coverage blocks

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within five years in Internal Medicine or Hospital Medicine
• Active Michigan license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification
• ACLS required

• Lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursement are available
• Michigan-based or drive-in physicians only
