Toledo, OH Pediatric Hospitalist APP ASAP Start 13-Week Assignment
Practice Details:
Requirements:
Credentialing:
- Start: ASAP (as soon as credentialed)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (2 4 months with option to extend)
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
- 5x12-hour shifts
- No call
- All-inclusive rate
- Facility may consider 2 providers to split the schedule
Practice Details:
- Inpatient Pediatric Hospitalist coverage
- Focus on Pediatric Pulmonology and Neurology patients
- Conditions include asthma, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, seizure disorders, and medical management of trauma patients
- No newborn nursery, NICU, PICU, or delivery coverage
- Circumcisions not required
- Average daily census: 15+ patients
- EMR: Epic
- Orientation includes training with the lead PICU APP
- May float between Toledo Ebeid Children's Hospital, Bay Park, Flower, and Wildwood (all within 10 minutes)
Requirements:
- Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant only
- Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Hospitalist experience
- PALS required
- Ohio license preferred (licensing may be considered for the right candidate)
- DEA preferred
Credentialing:
- ASAP start upon credentialing
- Client is actively interviewing and looking to onboard quickly
