Pediatric Hospitalist job in undefined IN

We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to provide newborn coverage at a rural critical access hospital in Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking a low-volume schedule with 24-hour call.

Overview

• Start ASAP
• 6-month 1099 locum assignment with option to extend
• Ongoing coverage needed for the next several months
• 7 days on / 7 days off
• 24-hour call
• Approximately 1-2 newborn patients per day
• EMR: Meditech or Epic

Responsibilities

• Newborn evaluations
• Newborn rounding and discharge
• Attendance at C-sections when needed
• Perform circumcisions
• No pediatric admissions
• No inpatient pediatric management beyond newborn care

Requirements

• Board Certified
• DEA and PALS
• Active Indiana license or IMLC in-hand
