Clinical Details
Requirements
- Night shifts: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Typical schedule is 7 days on / 7 days off , with the possibility of 2 4 day stretches
- Weekend coverage required
- ASAP start (temporary privileges available while credentialing)
Clinical Details
- Hospitalist position focused on admissions and cross coverage
- No procedures required
- Closed ICU
- EMR: Epic (preferred experience)
- Average 6 8 admissions per night
- Day census up to 20 patients
- Non-ICU adult admissions with APP support as needed
- Critical Care responds to codes; Hospitalists are expected to respond to rapids for their own patients.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active Tennessee license or IMLC
- Tennessee DEA
- ACLS
- Must be able to work nights
- Local candidates preferred
- Positive attitude is considered essential
