We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to provide newborn coverage at a rural critical access hospital in Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking a low-volume schedule with 24-hour call. Overview Start ASAP 6-month 1099 locum assignment with option to extend Ongoing coverage needed for the next several months 7 days on / 7 days off 24-hour call Approximately 1 2 newborn patients per day EMR: Meditech or Epic Responsibilities Newborn evaluations Newborn rounding and discharge Attendance at C-sections when needed Perform circumcisions No pediatric admissions No inpatient pediatric management beyond newborn care Requirements Board Certified DEA and PALS Active Indiana license or IMLC in-hand
