What You ll Do
  • Provide overnight inpatient obstetric care, including labor management, deliveries, postpartum care, and triage
  • Manage gynecologic consults for acute issues during night shifts
  • Perform urgent assessments and interventions for obstetric and gynecologic patients
  • Collaborate with a team of OB/GYN physicians and advanced practice providers
  • Support complex cases with multispecialty teams onsite
  • Communicate effectively with day teams for seamless handoffs
  • Document thoroughly in the Epic EMR system
  • Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives in the OB unit
  • Support emergency obstetric situations and maternal/fetal emergencies
  • Contribute to the training and mentoring of residents or APPs if applicable
  • Engage in hospital committee work and process improvements as needed

What You Need
  • Active medical license in Colorado
  • Board-certified in OB/GYN
  • Inpatient obstetrics experience preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to handle emergency obstetric situations efficiently
