What You ll Do
- Provide overnight inpatient obstetric care, including labor management, deliveries, postpartum care, and triage
- Manage gynecologic consults for acute issues during night shifts
- Perform urgent assessments and interventions for obstetric and gynecologic patients
- Collaborate with a team of OB/GYN physicians and advanced practice providers
- Support complex cases with multispecialty teams onsite
- Communicate effectively with day teams for seamless handoffs
- Document thoroughly in the Epic EMR system
- Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives in the OB unit
- Support emergency obstetric situations and maternal/fetal emergencies
- Contribute to the training and mentoring of residents or APPs if applicable
- Engage in hospital committee work and process improvements as needed
What You Need
- Active medical license in Colorado
- Board-certified in OB/GYN
- Inpatient obstetrics experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle emergency obstetric situations efficiently
