Job Requirements

• Active Georgia physician license required
• Clean file required
• Minimum of 1 year of hospitalist experience required
• Strong inpatient acute care skills and comfort managing a broad range of adult medicine cases
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based care model
• Experience with EMR documentation and chart review workflows
• Willingness to provide code and rapid response coverage as assigned

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality hospitalist coverage for daytime and nocturnist shifts
• Manage an average target of 18-22 billable encounters per day shift, including admissions
• Participate in structured admission blocks and shared team-based rounding
• Work alongside advanced practice providers and physicians to support efficient patient flow
• Provide oversight for patient care, including chart review and co-signing when needed
• Respond to codes and rapid responses as the responsible hospitalist
• Collaborate with ICU, ED, and specialty support teams in an open ICU model
• Support cross-coverage and admissions during night coverage with intensivist support available 24/7
