- Role: APC Hospitalist Nocturnist (Inpatient)
- Location: WI
- Shift: Night coverage (Nocturnist) 7p-7a
- Start: ASAP
- Setting: Acute inpatient hospital medicine
- Need: Coverage for 2 APC FTEs (locum assignment)
- Managing inpatient admissions and cross-coverage overnight
- Responding to acute inpatient issues and changes in patient status
- Performing H&Ps and developing treatment plans
- Ordering/interpreting labs and imaging
- Collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, and specialists
- Escalating care when needed (ICU/rapid response/transfer)
- Documenting all patient encounters in the EMR
- NP or PA with acute care, hospital medicine, or inpatient experience
- Comfortable working independently during night shifts
- Strong clinical judgment in higher-acuity settings
- Wisconsin licensed (strongly preferred for fast onboarding)
