What You'll Do:

• Provide emergent gynecological care and support to the OB department
• Cover labor and delivery units alongside in-house laborist and private practitioners
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including other OB/GYNs, ER physicians, and surgical staff
• Support patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum emergencies
• Attend to a patient volume averaging 72 deliveries per month
• Assist with emergent GYN procedures as needed
• Provide backup coverage and support for hospital obstetric services

What You Need:

• Virginia medical license and current DEA certification
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB-GYN
• Strong clinical skills in labor & delivery and emergency gynecological care
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Prior hospitalist or OB GYN experience preferred
