Pay & Benefits:

What You ll Do:

• Provide emergent OB/GYN coverage within the hospital
• Collaborate with in-house anesthesia and backup physicians
• Support care for a diverse patient population, handling emergency GYN cases
• Coordinate with hospital staff to ensure quality and timely patient care
• Document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently
• Work within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment

What You Need:

• Valid medical license in Virginia
• Board certification or eligibility in OB-GYN or Family Medicine (OB)
• Prior hospitalist or emergency OB/GYN experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment:
Join a leading hospital in Christiansburg, VA, committed to delivering excellent inpatient obstetric care. You will be part of a supportive team providing emergent GYN coverage in a facility equipped with in-house anesthesia and a dedicated multidisciplinary team. The facility manages approximately 72 deliveries per month and offers a Level 3B neonatal unit at the parent hospital, with resources such as NICU bassinets and LDRPs to support patient care excellence.
