As our Hospitalist at CHI St. Joseph Health in Bryan-College Station, Texas, you will be a vital part of a dynamic, established team. Every day you will manage a 16-18 patient census with a round-robin admission model, ensuring focused, high-quality care. You'll focus solely on patient care, as a dedicated rapid response team handles codes and procedures, supported by streamlined workflows and modern EHR systems for efficient patient management. To be successful in this role, you will be a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician with an active Texas license. We seek strong clinical skills in inpatient medicine, excellent communication, and a commitment to patient-centered care within a collaborative, efficient team. Required:

 

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Active or eligible license in the state of Texas. Strong clinical skills in inpatient medicine, including the assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams in a hospital setting. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented hospital environment, adapting to a structured 7-on/7-off schedule. Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care and ensuring patient satisfaction within a rapid response team supported model.
