- Experience: Minimum 2 years OB hospitalist experience preferred
- Hourly Pay Rate: $195.00
- Pay Package: Competitive hourly rate
- Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), paid sick time (per applicable laws), licensure, travel, and reimbursement when applicable; robust referral bonus program; 24/7 support team to assist throughout your assignment
- Provide OB hospitalist coverage at a busy, well-equipped facility in Bakersfield
- Manage labor and delivery, antepartum, and postpartum patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
- Document clinical activities accurately within hospital EMR systems
- Respond to obstetric emergencies promptly and effectively
- Support patient education and safety protocols
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and OB guidelines
Required:
- Valid California Medical License
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Minimum 2 years of OB hospitalist experience
- Current BLS certification
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a hospitalist setting
- Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to hospital needs
