Academic Hospitalist - Internal Medicine
Location: Dothan, Alabama
MD/DO, Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Join a growing academic team offering a blend of inpatient care and resident teaching in a modern, supportive environment.
Position Highlights:
•Full-time, inpatient-focused role (avg. 14-15 shifts/month)
•10% protected admin/teaching time
•Teaching and mentorship of residents & med students
•Single location - no travel required
•Opportunity for academic appointment
Compensation & Benefits:
•Competitive salary + bonus potential
•$100,000 signing bonus
•Student loan repayment (PSLF eligible)
•Paid malpractice with tail
•CME and dues allowance
•Full benefits: health, vision, dental, life, disability, and pet insurance
•On-site childcare available
Qualifications:
•MD/DO, Board Certified in Internal Medicine
•Eligible for Alabama medical license
•ECFMG certification (if applicable)
