Job Details
Coverage Dates: October 8-20, 2026
Schedule: 12-hour in-house coverage, 7:00a-7:00p
Setting: Inpatient Pediatrics
Patient Volume: Approximately 5 patient encounters per shift
Required Skills: Pediatric inpatient management, pediatric and newborn intubation, ventilation management, central line placement, UVC/UAC placement, lumbar punctures, circumcisions, and EKG interpretation
Preferred Skills: Sedation, arterial lines, chest tubes, needle decompression, and advanced pediatric procedural experience
Board Status: Board Certified preferred; Board Eligible considered within 3-5 years of residency
Licensure: Active New Mexico license required
DEA: Required
Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
Credentialing: Approximately 60-90 days; no temporary privileges available
Support: Established inpatient pediatric service with ongoing coverage needs
