What You ll Do
  • Provide direct medical care to hospitalized patients, including admissions, daily rounding, and discharges
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions using evidence-based care
  • Coordinate care plans and support smooth transitions of care
  • Order, interpret, and act on laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
  • Document patient encounters, care plans, and outcomes timely in the EMR
  • Respond to medical emergencies, including codes and rapid response situations
  • Participate in clinical rounds and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Emergency Medicine physicians, nursing, respiratory therapy, and CRNAs
What You NeedRequired
  • MD or DO
  • Ability to provide care in a hospitalist setting with strong clinical judgment
  • Documentation and EMR proficiency (timely documentation required)
Preferred
  • Board certification (compensation may consider board certification; board status not explicitly required)
  • Experience supporting multidisciplinary inpatient care teams
