This role involves assessing new nursery babies and pediatric floor patients. No NICU cover required. Board Certification required. Active MO license required. At MHJ, they would start on a Monday and then work until the next Sunday (7 days). They would round on what newborns they have in the nursery each morning (typically 3 newborns on average) and then remain on call the remainder of the day for any newborn resuscitation (C-sections, preemies, other OB requests). The actual time in the hospital seeing newborns is probably 1-2 hours and the remainder of the 24 hours would be on-call.Shifts: 7:00am - 7:00pm Prefer locum with availability to cover 10-15 shifts per monthCovid and current flu vaccines required.Patients per shift: 10-15No of beds : VariesMinimum Board Certification: BC EMR System: Epic
