Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician for a 60-day assignment with our client in DC, starting Sep 7, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient care, primarily covering night shifts from 7p-7a within a dynamic staffing model that includes multiple physicians and advanced practice providers, managing patients across a hospital that operates as a Trauma Center.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive inpatient care within a staffing model consisting of 2 MD Day shifts (7a-7p), 1 APP Day shift (7a-7p), and 1 MD Night shift (7p-7a).
  • Work primarily 7p-7a shifts.
  • Care for patients within a Trauma Center.
  • Manage patients in a hospital with med/surg beds, with the ability to expand to more beds.
  • Collaborate within a Closed ICU environment, which includes ICU beds and 24-hour MD coverage with Intensivists who perform all care and procedures in the ICU.
