Job Details
OB Hospitalist/Laborist opening in East/Central Indiana University town only 1 hour and 15 minutes from Indianapolis, IN Hospital employed Multi-specialty group. $160/hour for full time providers. OB Emergency department serves to triage all pregnant women and is a certified emergency room. Managed by OB Hospitalist team 24/7/365. Level III NICU with neonatologists in-house 24/7/365 for support in delivery. Labor and delivery are a separate unit from mother baby (no LDRP). Employed Maternal Fetal specialist on staff. Will mainly cover the OB ED doing 24-hour in-house shifts typically from 9am 9am. Will also provide coverage for unassigned OB patients, emergency obstetric needs and occasional laborist coverage in collaboration with employed OB/GYN physicians. Some flexibility with 12 hours shifts but typical schedule is expected to be 24-hour shifts. Full time schedule will be 7-8 24-hour shifts per month or 84-96 shifts annually. 24-hour shifts pay $3,840. Back-up OB support and call coverage from local OB/GYN group. Obstetric dedicated anesthesia provider in-house 24/7/365. Cerner EMR City population of 60,000 in immediate city Sign-on bonus is negotiable and $10,000 relocation assistance. Benefits include health, dental, vision, disability, retirement savings plan, $2500 for CME plus 5 days off. 4 weeks of paid vacation H1-B visa sponsorship available. Not able to sponsor J1. Must be BE/BC in Obstetrics. Indiana license required or ability to obtain.
