Clinical Role
Join an established hospital medicine service in Anchorage, Alaska, providing inpatient Hospitalist coverage beginning October 5, 2026. This is an ongoing need through the end of 2026, with the potential for continued coverage.
The ideal provider will be flexible to work day shifts, night shifts, and weekends. Providers should be willing to work 7 consecutive shifts, preferably covering approximately 2 weeks per month. The facility may also consider a traditional 7-on/7-off schedule.

- Manage approximately 18-22 patients per shift
- Provide day and night coverage as scheduled
- Participate in rotating call responsibilities
- Provide weekend coverage as needed
- Coordinate patient care with the hospital medical team
- Document patient care using EPIC
- No procedures required
- No ICU coverage

- Overnight and weekend responsibilities as scheduled
- Acute inpatient patient management
- Coordination with hospital-based care teams

Requirements
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine through ABIM - Required
- OR Board Certified in Family Medicine - Required
- Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends
- Willingness to work 7 consecutive shifts
- Ability to provide approximately 2 weeks of coverage per month preferred
- Ability to participate in rotating call
- Ability to manage approximately 18-22 patients per shift
- Hospital-based inpatient experience
