Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

We are a seeking an experienced Board-Certified Pediatric Hospitalist to provide per diem coverage at Winchester Medical Center. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys delivering high-quality, family-centered care in a collaborative community hospital environment while working alongside a strong multidisciplinary team. Position Highlights

• Provide care on a 17-bed pediatric floor and in the newborn nursery
• Support approximately 2,400 annual deliveries
• Pediatric Floor Average Daily Census: 5
• Newborn Nursery Average Daily Census: 15
• Daytime support from dedicated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• 24-hour rounding plus call from home/hotel
• Flexible block scheduling available
• Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists through established partnerships with:
  • University of Virginia
  • INOVA
  • Children s National
• Work closely with the Pediatrix NICU team, ensuring continuity of care across the hospital
  
  Requirements
  • Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Eligible for or currently holding an active Virginia medical license
  • Pediatric Hospitalist experience preferred
  Schedule
  • Per diem coverage
  • 24-hour rounding and call coverage
  • Block scheduling opportunities available
