Locums - Pediatrics Hospitalist Winchester, VirginiaAvailability / Coverage
- Start Date: November 1, 2026
- Coverage Type: Per Diem
- Schedule: 24-hour rounding plus call from home/hotel
- Block scheduling: Available
- Program Start: November 2026
- Board Certified in Pediatrics - REQUIRED
- Board Eligible candidates are NOT accepted
- Active Virginia Medical License - REQUIRED
- At least 6 months of clinical experience within the specialty - REQUIRED
- Must have been clinically active within the past 1 year - REQUIRED
- Experienced Pediatric Hospitalist
- Care for patients on a 17-bed pediatric floor
- Provide coverage in the newborn nursery
- Approximately 2,400 annual deliveries
- Pediatric Floor Average Daily Census: 5
- Newborn Nursery Average Daily Census: 15
- Daytime support from Advanced Practice Providers
- Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists available onsite and through telehealth
- NICU services are also provided onsite
- Community hospital setting
