Locum Tenens - Nocturnist Hospitalist Opportunity in Upstate New YorkPosition OverviewWe are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine physician to provide Nocturnist locum tenens coverage for a community hospital in Upstate New York.Coverage Needs:Start: October - Ongoing7-10 Shifts Per Month Specific Requested Shifts: 12/23-1/3 (Required)Hours: 7pm-7amClinical DetailsAdmitting patients (floor emergencies only; no rounding required)Average of 8 admissions per night (Could be more on busy nights which is rare)Attend Floor Pager Calls 2 Nocturnists on at night with 1 or 2 swing admitters until 11pmShared census of 100-140 patientsResponding to and leading codes (Must be comfortable running codes, although both nocturnists at night will respond to codes so there is help)Open ICU with telehealth intensivist backup available (Intensivists present during the days) Admission to the ICU may be required No mandatory procedures, but opportunities available if desiredRequirements: BLS, ACLSEMR system: EPICCredentialing RequirementsCase logs from the past 2 years.Active DEA license.Certificates of insurance covering the last 10 years.Employment verification for the past 10 years.Hospital privileges for the last 10 years.Three clinical references from the past 6 months (at least one from leadership).Additional certifications: BLS, ACLS, and Infection ControlMust be credentialed with Medicare & MedicaidRequirementsBoard Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Active BLS, ACLS, and Infection Control CertificationFacility & Community Highlights391-bed hospital located near Saratoga Springs, the Adirondack Mountains, Lake George, and Lake Champlain.Abundant outdoor recreation: hiking, camping, boating, golf, and more.Vibrant cultural scene.What RecruitWell Offers"A" rated malpractice coverage.Weekly direct deposit.24/7 dedicated recruiter support.Professional onboarding and credentialing assistance.Prepaid travel and lodging.RecruitWell Core ValuesOpen communicationSense of urgencyTeamworkAccountabilityDrive to winHigher consciousness
