Hospitalist Physician

Opportunity:

Physician - Hospitalist

Job Details:

Must already hold an active Alaska license prior to consideration

Board Certified in ABIM or Family Medicine required

12-hour shifts with rotating call coverage (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM / 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM)

Must be willing to work 7 consecutive shifts, preferably 2 weeks per month

Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends required

Patient census ranges from 90 to 95 patients with 18 to 22 patient encounters per shift

Closed ICU unit with intensivist on site; no procedures required

No in-house call; phone consults only

EMR system used is EPIC

Coverage need is ongoing into 2026

Site Directors will conduct phone interviews with potential locum providers to answer any questions
