Clinical Role
Join an established Hospitalist team in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, providing inpatient coverage beginning November 13, 2026, for an initial three-month assignment.
The team is seeking a physician who is enthusiastic about teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians and who wants to engage with all aspects of the hospital, including medical education and hospital operations.

- Evaluate and manage hospitalized patients
- See approximately 16-20 patients per physician per day
- Participate in the 7 on/7 off block schedule
- Provide day and night coverage as assigned
- Participate in rotating call
- Work collaboratively with dedicated nocturnists
- Participate in medical education
- Teach and mentor physicians in training
- Engage with hospital operations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary hospital teams
- Coordinate patient care and disposition
- Document patient care using Meditech
Teaching & Mentoring
The physician will have an opportunity to teach and mentor the next generation of physicians and engage with multiple aspects of hospital operations, including medical education.

- Day, night, and weekend flexibility required

Requirements
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine through ABIM OR Board Certified in Family Medicine - Required
- Ability to provide inpatient Hospitalist coverage
- Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends
- Willingness to work 7 consecutive shifts
- Ability to participate in rotating call
- Interest in teaching and mentoring
- Ability to participate in medical education and hospital operations
