Job Details
We are actively seeking a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist Physician for a 49-day assignment with our client in California, commencing Oct 19, 2026. This role involves managing a diverse caseload of pediatric floor patients, including common acute illnesses, chronic condition exacerbations, and post-operative care, alongside ER consults and peds burn unit cases. Candidates should be flexible to work day or night shifts, typically 12-hour shifts, with 24-hour shifts possible. Responsibilities and Duties Manage 10-15 patients daily on the pediatric floor. Handle 0-5 ER consults daily. Oversee 0-3 cases daily in the pediatric burn unit. Treat common acute illnesses, chronic condition exacerbations, and provide post-operative care. Perform lumbar punctures. Provide in-house shifts. Be flexible for day or night shifts; 12-hour shifts are typical, with 24-hour shifts possible.
